Operating Instruction MEGA R01 2. Fuel – pre-mix ratio The pre-mix ratio: Ratio of 1 ltr 2-stroke oil : 40 ltr unleaded fuel Corresponding an oil-ratio of 2,5% The unleaded fuel must have a minimum octane rating of 98 ROZ. -

Operating Instruction MEGA R01 4. Balancing gear 2 peaces of counter rotating balancing gears reduce engine vibrations. A check of oil level in the balancing gear box is not necessary. Replace oil, if it exits through the ventilation tube. Recommended oil: 0,05 ltr (50 ml) SAE 10W40 (engine oil) 5. -

Operating Instruction MEGA R01 7. Carburetor Faulty carburetor diaphragm can cause lean operating conditions. The membrane and its associated seal must be replaced with new parts. The parts which have to be exchanged are situated between the nozzle chamber and nozzle chamber cover - see drawing. -

Operating Instruction MEGA R01 8. Carburetor jetting This carburetor is executed as a membrane carburetor. The stock carburetor setting covers a wide range of air pressure and air temperature conditions. The carburetor setting has to be changed according to air pressure and air temperature. -

Operating Instruction MEGA R01 10. Battery - charging It should be noted that the battery should be charged at all times. For longer life, the battery should be charged in the meantime. The battery is only responsible for starting the engine. The charging coils of the ignition system are producing enough electrical power to run the engine. -

Operating Instruction MEGA R01 11. Idle speed By adjusting the idle screw on the carburetor the idle speed screw of the engine can be changed. To increase idle speed turn the idle screw clockwise. To reduce idle speed turn it counterclockwise. -
