Installation Steps
Step 1: Mounting
1. Choose a dry, indoor location for installation
2. For DIN rail mounting:
– Attach DIN rail clip (sold separately) to the back of
the unit
– Snap onto 35mm DIN rail
– Ensure unit is firmly secured
3. For wall mounting:
– Use appropriate mounting hardware for your wall
type
– Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit
Step 2: Bell/Buzzer Wiring Instructions
Relay Output Specifications:
- Two relay outputs (OUTPUT 1 and OUTPUT 2)
- Dry Contact type (1-Form-A relay)
- Maximum rating: 48VAC @ 8A per relay
- Normally Open (NO) contacts, convertible to NC if
needed
Bell/Buzzer Wiring
1. Power Supply Selection: - Choose a power supply
that matches your bell/buzzer requirements -
Ensure power supply is properly rated for your
device
2. Basic Wiring Diagram:
– Connect one wire from power supply to one of the
bell/buzzer wires
– Connect the other power supply wire to one
terminal of Netbell-2's relay (OUTPUT 1 or 2)
– Connect the remaining bell/buzzer wire to the other
terminal of the same relay output
– Plug the bell power supply into an AC outlet
3. Multiple Bell Configuration:
Each relay can control devices up to 8A total current
Total current draw of all connected buzzers must
not exceed 8A
Ensure power supply rating matches total buzzer
current requirements
Verify total current draw is within specifications
before operation
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This device is NOT designed to directly switch line
voltage (120V/240V)
- For line voltage devices, an intermediary relay
MUST be installed
- Verify all connections before applying power
- Keep wire lengths as short as practical
- Use appropriate wire gauge for current rating.
Step 3: Digital Input Connections (Optional)
The Netbell-2 features two digital inputs that can detect
external on/off states of sensors. The most common use
of the digital inputs for the Netbell is to connect a push
button switch to activate the bell manually for
emergency.
- Connect the push button to one of the digital input
terminals
- Open the enclosure, put the digital input to PU
position
- Configure the software
