The MT21 can be installed as a one day project. The normal time required to install the MT21 is about 3-5 hours for a two man crew. This time requirement will vary depending upon the composition of the soil and the speed of the installers.

Assembly Top Rail Assembly a. Slide the undrilled end of the 11’6” top rail as far as it will go into the sleeve of the triple end. b. Insert and tighten 4 of the ⅜” x ⅜” set screws into the triple end sleeve to secure the top rail in place.

Lay the top rail assembly on the ground in the area where you want to install the swing set. Using the diagram below, determine where the vertical ladder will go and mark the ground for the ladder hole. Move the top rail assembly and dig the hole. Lay the ladder on the ground with the bottom of the ladder laying just over the hole you just dug.

Turn the top rail on its side and slide the top rail into the sleeve at the top of the ladder and position it according to the diagram above. Loosely install two ⅜” x ⅜” set screws into the top of the ladder sleeve. Insert the two A-frame legs (1 ⅞”...

With the ladder still standing in its hole, situate the A-frame end to the desired position in the play area. Mark the ground where the A-frame leg holes will be. Move the legs out of the way and dig the holes. Place the legs into the holes.

Secure swing hangers to the top rail at the following locations: Swing Hanger Assembly 1. Loosen and remove the two nyloc jam nuts. 2. Reassemble the swing hanger onto the top rail. Tighten securely so that the hanger is firmly attached in place and cannot slide or swivel along the top rail.

Cementing In the Swing Set When you are satisfied that the structure is level, mix and pour the concrete according to the package directions. You will use approximately 6 to 7 80lb. bags in the ladder hole and 1 ½ 80lb bags in each a-frame leg hole. Concrete will cure faster in warm conditions and slower in cold conditions.
