The images from its 420mm f/7 ED (Extra-low Dispersion
glass) air-spaced triplet optics are essentially color-free. We

Your Astro-Tech AT60EDT refractor is usable for day and night
viewing, simply by adding an appropriate star diagonal and
eyepiece. Any brand of 1.25" or 2" eyepiece can be used, from a
40mm focal length for the lowest possible magnification (10.5x),
to a 3mm (140x) for high power use.
