SECTION 1 DESCRIPTION 1.1 GENERAL INFORMATION The ChlorKing® 5000 TDS Controller automates the process of controlling Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). The controller constantly monitors TDS. When TDS reaches a predetermined value the controller will open an actuated valve to automatically drain water as a separate auto fill device fills the body of water until the desired TDS value is reached. -

- Page 6 ChlorKing 5000 TDS Installation and Operation ChlorKing 5000 TDS operation The controller displays the TDS concentration in PPM. The set point is factory adjusted to 1500ppm TDS. To change the set point, press the menu button once. The display will display the set point. Once the set point is displayed, press and hold the menu button for 15 seconds.
- Page 7 ChlorKing 5000 TDS Installation and Operation To display water temperature, press the menu button two times. Pressing the menu button a third time will bring the salt concentration screen back up. The controller will default to the salt concentration screen automatically after a set period of time.
