If you are installing a 4 or 5 step ladder, simply apply STEPS 1-4 for any additional steps you need to add to your ladder frame.

With the ladder frame flush against the dock use the L-shaped bracket holes as a guide to drill through the surface of the decking to accommodate the hardware for fastening the ladder to the dock.
