Check for bent, broken, loose, or missing boom, bucket, or sheet metal parts. Check for loose or missing hardware. Check for oil leaks, missing or loose hose clamps, kinked hoses, and lines or hoses that rub against each other or other parts.

    790-OS, 790-S, 990S SKID For machines with tracks , check condition of tracks and track sag. On crawler machines with non sealed-and-lubricated track chains, apply oil to the pin-to-bushing joints. Run machine back and forth several times. (7). Park machine on a hard surface to prevent tracks from freezing to ground. (8).
  • Page 24 790-OS, 790-S, 990S SKID steering control levers. (2). If you are a new operator, always operate the machine in an open area at a reduced machine ground speed until you get a feel for the controls. Move the steering control levers slowly and smoothly to avoid machine bouncing.

If the bucket is empty, drive the machine down the hill. Use reverse to back the machine up the hill when you have an empty bucket.

    790-OS, 790-S, 990S SKID Note: screwing the bolt closely excessively will damage the filter. Install and screw the oil bolt. Open the oil cover on the engine. Add clean oil according the staff guage. Start the engine and make it running for several minutes then stop the engine.
