- Page 4 2. Mode of operation The Mini UV-RO clarifies the water using UV-C radiation. This is generated by a special LED in the unit. If the dose is sufficient, the UV-C radiation kills all irradiated organisms - floating algae, bacteria, protozoa and other pathogens.
