How do you remove the "guide bar sheath" on this product? If the answer is pull it off ------ I've tried and that doesn't work. Thanks, Dennis

The guide bar sheath on the Hyper Tough HT13-401-003-03 is a protective cover. To remove it, simply slide or pull it off the guide bar and saw chain before operation.

To oil the Hyper Tough HT13-401-003-03:

1. Use only TriLink® bar and chain oil for best results.
2. Apply a drop of oil between the guide bar and chain after every 5 cuts.
3. Run the saw for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.
4. Use a grease syringe to lubricate the sprocket at the tip of the guide bar weekly through the lubricating holes on each side.
5. Do not use dirty, used, or non-bar-and-chain-specific oil.
