Technical Specification Works Test Certificate (WTC) Fan curves 0.1 Description of the equipment The fans are meant for migration of air only, and are not suited for any other purpose, like chip extraction or similar.

Check the delivery towards the packing list to verify that all components are delivered. Also, check the nameplate against the order.

Pallet must be lifted and handled carefully, and sudden impacts avoided. It must be ensured that water (e.g., rain) will not enter the motor or bearings during lifting / handling.

    Document: NYB5230C Page: Page 6 of 22 Date: 16.08.2023 Revision: Install the fan in accordance with the air flow indicated by the arrow on the fan casing. For duct connected fans, there must be a gasket between fan flange and connection flange to avoid leakage.

Check that the motor terminal box cover is properly closed not to ensure the integrity. The electric motor must always be protected by a motor protection switch.

A clear note/poster must be displayed at the starter panel, and other possible remote start locations, that maintenance work in ongoing. In case of malfunction, contact Nyborg AS.

The vibration-level limit for the fan can be found in the WTC for the fan. 7.6.3 Sealing ring To replace the sealing ring, first dismantle the impeller as described in 7.6.4 and drawing 2-10040. Remove the seal ring by using a seal puller or similar tool.

After the impeller have been dismantled according to procedure above; remove the shaft key. Loosen flange or shield on motor drive end (DE) side and take the rotor part of electrical motor out from the fan casing.
