Purpose
This document outlines the process of replacing the Automated Boat Shade Canvas.
Safety

Moving parts can pinch, crush, or cut. Keep body parts clear at all times.
Resources Required
• Wand (provided with shade)
1/4
" spacer
3/16
" hex wrench
• Phillips screwdriver
Procedure
1.
Press the extend button until the shade extends to its full length.
NOTE: It takes approximately six rotations to release the tension from the canvas.
2.
Insert the wand (Fig.1A) into the manual override slot and press the extend button again, while
rotating the wand toward the positive (+) sign until the canvas is fully extended.
Do NOT try to remove the canvas until all tension is released from the Automated Shade Arm.

Prepare to remove the canvas (Fig.2): A. Remove the track stop for the stainless steel fascia located on the starboard side using a 1/8" hex wrench (Fig.
