Wreath Hanger
CP1031
Instructions and Usage Guide
Mounting Instructions
Clean the mounting surface. Good mounting surfaces include glass, metal, and
fiberglass. Clean the sealing edge of the vacuum cup. Lightly moisten the mounting surface or
sealing edge of the vacuum cup before attaching. Press the vacuum cup against the mounting
surface, making sure the sealing edge is touching the mounting surface on all sides. Press the
pump repeatedly until the pump no longer springs back out of the pump cylinder. The orange band
should not be visible. Wrap the flexible wire around your wreath's frame to secure it.
Check for the Orange Band During Use
SeaSucker vacuum mounts are not intended to be permanent fixtures. The Wreath Hanger may
gradually lose vacuum over time, so you should occasionally check the to see if the orange
vacuum-strength indicator band is visible. If you see the orange band, simply pump the SeaSucker
as described above. If the orange band appears less than two hours after being pumped to full
strength, cleaning, maintenance or repositioning may be required.
Care and Maintenance
To get the most out of your SeaSucker Wreath Hanger, inspect it regularly and store it in the included carrying case. Check the
vacuum cups for stiffness, cracks, cuts or roughness around the sealing edge. Make sure that the screws attaching the vacuum
pads to the SeaSucker housing are tightened securely. Clean the vacuum cups before each use with a sponge or soft cloth, mild dish
soap and water. Do not use harsh solvents or abrasive cleaning pads. The vacuum pump should be cleaned after taking down your
wreath. To clean the pump, pull the plunger straight out of the pump cylinder. Clean the inside of the cylinder with dish soap and a
soft cloth or paper towel. The plunger should be wiped clean and the black rubber gasket at the tip of the plunger should be re-lubed
with a thin layer of silicone-based gel lubricant. After cleaning, push the plunger back into the cylinder and pump it several times to
seat it properly and distribute the lubricant.
