BlueUp SafeX Plus User Manual

Introduction
BlueUp SafeX Plus, henceforth identified with the terms "product", "device" or "beacon", is a Bluetooth Low
Energy (BLE) tag for identification, proximity and location applications.
SafeX Plus can be provided in one of the following technologies:
•
BLE: support of main BLE technologies for proximity beacons (iBeacon, Eddystone) and of custom
BLE advertising packets;
•
Quuppa: support of Quuppa Intelligent Locating System for submeter-accuracy RTLS;
•
Wirepas: support of mesh 2.4GHz for ultra-low-power wireless mesh location and tracking;
•
Tracer: support of social-distancing and contact tracing.
SafeX Plus is provided in an IP65/NEMA4 plastic enclosure, and has:
• ON/OFF button (lateral) and ALARM button (front, red color);
• RGB LED;
• vibration, sound.
It is powered by lithium rechargeable battery (with capacity 500mAh), with USB-C port for recharge (use
USB power supply unit with 5V and 1A).
