10. CREATE APP ACCOUNT AND ADD LOCATION Once you download the Guardian App, please create a new account (if you are a first-time user) and then log in You will be prompted to add a new Location. Enter the name of your Location and then click “Add Location”.

12. CONFIGURE WI-FI The App will ask you to join its Wi-Fi network (ie. Guard ian- XXXX), select your Wi-Fi network name from a list and enter its password. LEAK DETECTOR SENSORS Top Sensor The Top Sensor detects the first few drops of a leak. Use the Top Sensor if you can access the area directly underneath potential leaks. The rear cutout of the Leak Detector lets you place the sensor directly next to to a wall even with quarter-round molding.

VALVE CONTROLLER LED BEHAVIOR The Valve Controller has 3 LEDs on the top, near its grey button. To view what each LED represents, please make sure you have removed the yellow sticker. Power LED The topmost LED is the power LED. It is represented by the power symbol.

VALVE CONTROLLER BUT TON BEHAVIOR The Valve Controller has a grey button on top that can be used to perform a variety of actions: Open/close Water Valve — Click button Click the button to open or close your valve. To immedi- ately halt your Valve Controller, hold the button for 1 to 2 seconds, then release to stop the open/close motion.

Factory Reset — Hold for 5 beeps To factory reset your Valve Controller, please press and hold the button on top of the Valve Controller until you hear a total of 5 beeps. Each beep will be 3 seconds apart. Once you let go of the button, your Valve Controller’s top LEDs will flash momentarily and then settle on 1 solid Power LED.
