IMPORTANT - Please read the instructions fully before attempting installation.
This unit should be installed to current IEE wiring regulations.
•
Timer must not be mounted on a flammable surface.
•
Ensure that the timer does not come into contact with any combustible material such as towels or bedding.
•
Ensure at least a 300mm airspace is allowed around the timer.
•
The timer should not be mounted on an unearthed metal or metallised surface.
•
If the timer is to be connected to an appliance that is required to be earthed. The supply earthing conductor and the
appliance earthing conductor should be terminated together in the earth terminal provided within the timer.
Installation
1. Switch off electric at the mains.
2. Prepare cable ends for connection to the terminals.
3. Remove the 1 screw holding the timer switch terminal cover. DO NOT INTERFERE WITH ANY OF THE FIXED
CONNECTIONS.
4. Connect all earth wires to earthing points.
5. Wire timer in accordance to wiring diagram on the unit.
6. Use lower screw hole to secure unit to wall plus the mounting hole on rear of unit.
7. Carefully replace terminal cover ensuring all wires are stowed neatly and not trapped.
8. Replace screw and tighten.
Wiring Connections
Ensure the earth to the switched appliance is maintained. Timer to be wired in accordance with wiring diagram on unit. Any
electrical work should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Keyboard Definitions
1. RESET: Clears all data in memory including current time and all programs.
2. CLOCK: Set current time combined with buttons WEEK, HOUR, MINUTE. Activate or cancel summertime function.
3. PROG: Set programs combined with buttons WEEK, HOUR, MINUTE. Select 12- or 24-hour mode combined with
button CLOCK.
4. MANUAL: Select operating modes of timer.
5. WEEK: Set week combined with button CLOCK or PROG.
6. HOUR: Set our combined with button CLOCK or PROG.
7. MINUTE: set minute combined with button CLOCK or PROG.
8. RST/RCL: Override program or recall the overridden program.

Initial Operations
1. Once wired the unit may require a period to charge the memory battery backup.
2. Clear all current information by pressing the RESET button with a sharp object just as a pen or pencil after charging.
