TRIGGER SAFETY MECHANISM • The operator’s fingers need to be off the Trigger (5) and the No Mar Pad (9) of the tool to be placed on the workpiece. • The No Mar Pad (9) is then depressed against the work surface and the Trigger (5) is activated (engaged to drive fastener). -

Fig 3 ADJUSTING DEPTH • Always consider the type of material that the fastener is applied to, some materials are soft and other are hard and therefor the firing depth must be adjusted, accordingly, to avoid damage to the material. Also note the material thickness as too long fasteners may protrude from the back end of the material. -

CLEARING A JAMMED NAIL Should a nail jam occur keep the tool pointed in a safe direction when following the steps below: • Ensure the air supply is disconnected from the tool. • Press the Magazine Release Latch (7) and pull the Magazine (8) to slide the cover open to remove any remaining nails. -
