If there is a live signal coming from your video source, you should be able to see your video source on the screen. (Optional) Using the “Direct2DVD” Feature The VHS2DVD Wizard software has a feature called “Direct2DVD” which can be used to both capture a video from your VCR and burn it to a DVD at the same time. Note: this feature requires plenty of computer resources, so we only recommend using this feature if you have a newer computer or one with plenty of processing power.

Use the preview window to make sure your movie from the attached VCR, DVR, or Camcorder is playing. Setting the Stop and Finalize DVD feature will automatically stop recording and finalize the DVD after the set amount of recording time has passed.
