- Page 2 Connect your GP eTag 1. Remove the insulation strip. A “beep” sound indicates that the eTag is powered on and entered pairing mode. If there is no pairing within 10 minutes, GP eTag will exit pairing mode. To re-pair, reinsert the battery.
