    Mounting instruction 1700 Tritronic 2016 1.5.2 Mode switch Bear the following in mind when installing: Ensure that the "Low pressure" light on the selector switch is clearly visible from the driver's seat. It is preferable to mount these on the bulkhead at the front of the trailer.

    Mounting instruction 1700 Tritronic 2016 1.5.2.1 Important directions during installation The selector switch is fitted with an internal antenna. The Bluetooth signal (for the wireless connection) of the selector switch is an electromagnetic signal that may be blocked or reflec- ted by metal.
  • Page 23 Point the antenna in such a way that the presence of obstacles (e.g. metal objects) in the transmission/reception area is as little as possible. Contact the service department of TRIDEC to discuss the practicality of an external antenna (this depends on the situation).

    Depending on their function, sensors can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. Horizontally mounted sensors Horizontally mounted sensors are used to detect steering movements. They are often pre- installed. Consult the 2D CAD diagram supplied by TRIDEC if they have not been pre- installed. Vertically mounted sensors A sensor consists of two halves that can turn in relation to each other.

Determine a suitable location on the chassis of the trailer/semi-trailer to fit the accumulator set. It can be fitted between the steering cylinders and the control box. Procedure: Take the following into consideration when fitting the accumulator set 607566.

Remove any burrs, iron shav-ings and other contamination before connecting a hydraulic com-ponent. Contamination in the hydraulic systemmay result in a failure/in damage that is not covered by the warranty.

The semi-trailer/trailer man- ufacturer must further develop the design of the function.     The control box contains the oil reservoir. Before filling the reservoir, check for and remove any external contamination. Check the oil cap for contamination and make sure the reservoir can be bled. Fill the reservoir with oil that meets the TRIDEC specifications to the maximum level as described in this procedure.
