  • Page 9 Gebrauchsanweisung – Octopus S / M • Verschließen Sie die Gurtschlösser an den Schnallen der Weste nur, wenn dies unbedingt notwendig ist. • Sichern Sie den Nutzer IMMER mit dem im Fahrzeug befindlichen 3-Punkt-Sicher- heitsgurt. Das verwendete Gurtsystem ist NICHT sicherheitsrelevant und dient nur der Positionierung.

    Gebrauchsanweisung – Octopus S / M 5. Zweckbestimmung 5.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung / Anwendungsbereiche Das Reha-Gurtsystem Octopus ist ein Medizinprodukt der Klasse 1. Es ist konzipiert für die behindertengerechte Beförderung und zur Einhaltung einer gesicherten Sitzposition des Nutzers. Die Sicherung des Nutzers erfolgt immer mit dem fahrzeugeigenen 3-Punkt-Sicherheitsgurt.

(Abb. 4) Öffnen sie die Schnallen mit der Aufschrift “Press”. Der untere Teil der Schnalle wird zwischen Rückenlehne und Sitzfläche nach hinten durchgeführt (Abb.

    Gebrauchsanweisung – Octopus S / M 6.3.6 Montage des Schrittgurtes Führen Sie den Schrittgurt ebenfalls zwischen Rückenlehne und Sitzfläche des Fahr- zeugsitzes nach hinten durch.     Nutzer im Octopus Platz genommen hat. Die anschließende Anpassung der Schultergurte nehmen Sie vor, wenn der Nutzer im Octopus Platz genommen hat. Die Schultergurtlänge kann über ein leichtes Ziehen am Gurtende verkürzt werden. Für die Verlängerung der Schultergurtlänge heben sie die Schnalle am Rückenpolster leicht an und ziehen etwas mehr Gurt zur Weste.
  • Page 15 Gebrauchsanweisung – Octopus S / M 8.2 Sitzpolster Mit dem Sitzpolster verhindern Sie ein Verrutschen und Verdrehen des Schrittgurtes beim Ein- und Aussteigen. Ein Verdrehen des Schrittgurtes kann zu einer Veränderung der Schrittgurtlänge führen, was die sichere Positionierung des Nutzers einschränkt.

    Gebrauchsanweisung – Octopus S / M 14. Nutzungsdauer Das Produkt hat eine Nutzungsdauer von bis zu 6 Jahren bei fachgerechter und regelmäßiger Wartung auf Grundlage der Herstellerangaben. Das Produkt kann über diesen Zeitraum hinaus verwendet werden, wenn es sich in einem sicheren und technisch einwandfreien Zustand befindet.

    Intended purpose 5.1 Intended use / areas of application The Octopus rehab harness system is a Class 1 medical device. It is designed for transporting people with disabilities and for maintaining a secure se- ating position for the user. The user is always secured with the vehicle's own 3-point safety belt.

Then thread the two buckles labelled "Press" back- wards between the backrest and the headrest. (Fig. 6) Now thread the neck cushion into a suitable position for the user.

Accessories 8.1 Belt extension The belt extension consists of a belt for horizontal fixation of the system (one buckle) and a belt for extending the buckles (two buckles). The lower buckles of the base back are adjusted to the maximum length and placed on the seat.
