4. Description
Suitable as a replacement part for bubble units. The air bend valve for the bubble unit is an essential
component for the optimal functioning of the bubble unit.
5. Assembly
Always consider the flow direction when replacing the check valves. This is indicated by an
arrow on the valve. The arrow always points from the pump towards the column!
To replace the membrane check valve, you must completely empty the water column.
If only the spring check valve is being replaced, the water column can remain filled. In this
case, close the adjustment valve completely.
Always unplug the power plug before performing any work on the water bubble column!
Replacement of the membrane check valve:
1. Remove the white cover (standing column) or the front cover (built-in column).
2. Cut the air hose straight on both sides of the valve.
3. Place the new valve, making sure to respect the flow direction, and push the air hose
as far as possible onto the fittings on both sides.
4. Fill the column with approximately 10 cm of distilled water, check the proper
functioning of the water bubble column, then turn it off again.
5. Wait about 5 minutes and check the hose connections for any leaks.
6. If water droplets appear at any of the connections, press the hose more firmly onto the
valve.
