GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT MIND

MIND is designed and programmed to work exclusively on the model it is intended to be used on. It will not work on any other model of Mondraker nor on bikes of any other brand. Attempting to use MIND on any bike other than the one it was designed for will result in false set-up data and erroneous suspension readings throughout your ride.
MIND is designed for use by any and all types of rider, regardless of technical know-how regarding suspension or electronics. The myMondraker app will guide you step-by-step through everything you need to do with illustrated diagrams and text.
MIND is connected to the mobile phone network for data transfer both for the alarm and theft notification functions. These functions are free of cost during the first year of ownership; from then on the alarm and theft notification services will be subject to a payment plan. If you do not wish to subscribe to these services once the first year of ownership is up, these services will cease to function but ALL OTHER functions will continue to work normally.
If you report a theft using the "Theft notification" form on the myMondraker app, Mondraker will be able to help you recover your bike.
While carrying out suspension set up or while riding avoid sources of magnetism near the sensors or the data collected by MIND will be erroneous.
MIND registers 100 reading per second but processes and filters this data so that what is displayed is useful and manageable to the end user.
MIND incorporates a built-in GPS module which is totally independent from that of your smartphone. As such no data will be transferred between the MIND system and your phone during your ride.
Maps shown in the myMondraker app belong to OpenStreetmap.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

MIND comes factory fitted on your bike by our specialised team of fitters. The user does not need to fit nor adjust anything at any time. As a high tech device it needs the necessary experience and training to be serviced in any way or form. Do not try to remove, adjust or manipulate the MIND system, and if in any doubt at all please go directly to your nearest Mondraker dealer.
Under no circumstances should you open the housing of the MIND device. The housings are sealed to avoid the ingress of water or dirt and opening the housing will break this protective seal leading to corrosion or short-circuit.
Please note that disconnection of the wires will render the device inoperative.

Maintenance
MIND requires no maintenance whatsoever other than charging the batteries as and when shown by the charge level indicator.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The myMondraker app
Open the myMondraker app on your smartphone and register with your email and password.
  2. Linking the myMondraker app to MIND
Now's the time to link your new MIND enabled Mondraker bike with the myMondraker app. Find your bike by clicking on the appropriate option "Add by serial number" or by choosing your model from the list, with accompanying photo, proposed by the app. Once you've chosen your bike and clicked to link it to your phone you'll need to input the password supplied with your MIND device. Once connected and linked you'll be offered the choice of setting up your suspension or going for a ride.
  3. Suspension set up
MIND gives you the chance to set up your front and rear suspension easily, adjusting either the air pressure and/or compression and rebound settings of both front and rear suspension according to your weight and riding preferences. Make sure to wear your riding gear, helmet, shoes (and hydration pack if you usually use one) before getting on the bike to set it up.
    1. Riding settings: Comfort/Standard/Racing
In the app press "Adjust sag", introduce your weight in kilos or pounds and then choose from the user profile you feel most represents the type of riding you do:
"Comfort" if you like your suspension supple and plush.
"Standard" is the setting that will suit most people most of the time.
"Racing" if you prefer firmer suspension settings both front and back.
Your shock's preload, or resting air pressure, is set using a shock-pump.
Both compression and rebound settings are set from the fully closed (clockwise) position which correspond to the compression being the hardest and the rebound the slowest. The adjustments to be made are counted in "clicks" from this starting point (anticlockwise).
The fork is to be adjusted in exactly the same way: air pressure for the preload; compression and rebound "clicks" anticlockwise from fully closed for the damping.
Please pay attention to the animations displayed by the app on your phone which will show you how to do this properly.
Now get on your bike and with your helper keeping you steady, stand on the pedals, hold onto the handlebar as if riding, and adopt the position you would be in when riding along a fun section of trail. Without changing your position, get your helper to press the "check setting" option which will be displayed on your screen.

Don't lock both brakes while doing this or you will get a false reading. Lock only the front OR back brake, NOT both.
  4. Information LEDs
The myMondraker app will let you know if your fork and shock air pressures are correct or whether you need to add or release air to achieve the perfect set up for your weight and riding style. You can do this yourself by checking the LED lights on the MIND device attached to the fork leg. If the light is red then the pressure is too high, conversely if the pressure is too low the light will be white. Once you've made the adjustments to the pressure as suggested by the myMondraker app you should repeat the sag setup procedure to see if the right pressure has now been achieved. If desired you can abandon this procedure and have another go later on as it's not indispensable before you go for your first ride.
  5. Recoding your ride
At the bottom centre of the screen you can start a new ride. Pressing the white circle will prompt the "start your ride" screen which will show a timer in the centre with a white icon underneath which when pressed will set your MIND system in motion.
    1. Starting your ride
At the bottom centre of the screen you'll see the icon for starting a new ride. Pressing it will take you to a screen which will show a timer in the centre with a white icon underneath which sets your MIND system in motion. After pressing the icon you'll need to wait a couple of seconds until the GPS connection is active and the steady green LEDs on the fork mounted MIND device light up from when on the clock is ticking.
    2. Pausing and Ending your ride
You can pause the ride at any time manually via the phone app by pressing the left icon under the timer. It's very simple and intuitive: short press to pause, or long press on the icon until you see a red circle go full circle to finish your ride. Now's the time to synch the data recorded on MIND with the myMondraker app on your phone.
If you didn't pack your phone for the ride or if the app disconnected from MIND for any reason during the ride, the app will ask you to connect with your bike via Bluetooth when you can. Once MIND has linked to the myMondraker app you can see the overall ride time, which you can stop and thus finish your ride.
    3. Synchronizing the ride
To synch your activities between MIND and the myMondraker app you need to be within Bluetooth range of your bike (max 10m). Once your bike is synched with the myMondraker app you can see all of your rides in chronological order by pressing the "Ride" icon at the bottom left of the screen.
Your most recent ride is the one at the top of the list, accompanied by the date and time it started. Pressing the "Synch" icon on the right hand side of the screen takes you to the following screen where you can give the ride a name. Once done, press the "Save" icon which will begin uploading the activity to the cloud with corresponding 'progress' animation. It's important to not leave the app while this is happening, nor allow the screen to go into sleep mode to ensure the correct upload of your ride. When the upload is complete you can access it by pressing the "Ride" icon at the bottom left of the screen which will take you to the chronological list of your rides, again with the latest shown at the top.
    4. Summary of your ride
Pressing the "Ride" icon shows all of your rides recorded by MIND in chronological order. We can access each and every one of them by selecting the one we want, either on the map or from the list, to see all of the data from that particular ride.
At the top of the screen you'll see the icon corresponding to your bike, with its name and the date of the ride, the name you gave the ride and below that a summary of the total distance ridden, the altitude gain, the average speed, the times the suspension bottomed out and the jumps we made throughout the ride. At the bottom of the screen you'll see the maximum travel of both the fork and the shock.
    5. Ride statistics
myMondraker offers a wealth of stats which among other things allow you to see key parameters of the performance of your bike such as just how your fork and shock are working. This is one the true strongpoints of MIND, allowing the direct comparison of how the fork is working compared to the shock at any given point of the ride.
We can see this information graphically, allowing us to compare the suspension performance and travel of the fork and shock at any particular point of the ride as well as a comparison of the speed and altitude at that moment.
Selecting the right hand side of the box with the fork or shock in it also lets us choose between speed and/or altitude so we can compare and contrast all of this information. Looking at the graph in the middle of the screen we can pinch or zoom on any particular point on it relative to the route map and then select that part of the ride to show the data relevant to the two sets of info we want to compare at that point on the route which are, by defect, the behaviour of the fork against that of the shock.
Likewise by selecting any one point along your ride as shown on the map you will get information regarding speed, milestone/kilometre point, both fork and shock travel at that precise point and so on for any given point along the route travelled.
    6. Jumps and bottoming out your suspension during the ride
From either the "Summary" or "Stats" tabs relative to the ride we're interested in, we can enlarge the map at any moment or click on the bottom right of the map to go into full-screen mode and thus see more clearly the track on the map (shown in blue) with the start point (grey circle) and end point (blue waymark point) clearly marked.
Selecting any point of the route on the graph will show you exactly where you were on the map by way of a black dot, along with the aforementioned data.
If you've done any jumps during the ride you'll see them as characteristic grey icons which look like wings. Clicking on any particular wing will give you all of the data about that jump: The speed you were going when you took off, at which point of the route you were at (in miles or kilometres), the max travel used by the fork, the max travel used by the shock, the time you were airborne and the overall length of the jump. If you bottomed out front or rear you'll see a red icon to let you know. Clicking on the red icon will open a window with all the data about the jump at the point you bottomed out.
    7. Editing your ride data
In the "Summary" of the activity, at the top right of the screen you'll see a pencil icon which gives you the option to edit the name of the route if you want, or edit the route itself by cutting off the beginning or the end and then pressing "Save changes". A few seconds later the new shorter route will appear with the data modified to show the new total distance, average speed etc. (Please note: You cannot remove a section form the middle of the ride, only the beginning or the end).
    8. Connecting to Strava
Also to be found at the top right of the "Summary" screen is the Strava logo. Clicking on it gives you the option to add some text (if you want to) before pressing "Share by Strava" to upload your ride to the Strava app. The first time you do this you'll be asked to input your Strava account details as well as your password. Strava will then ask you to "accept" and once done you'll have the ride available on Strava as well as myMondraker.
    9. The www.mymondraker.com webpage
myMondraker, as well as the smartphone app, has its own webpage at www.mymondraker.com where you'll find all the same info as on your phone, but taking advantage of the far larger screen of you PC. As mentioned previously, clicking on the "Rides" tab will give you a summary of all your rides, including all the graphs and comparative stats. Selecting the "See more details" tab within the "Stats" screen, you'll enjoy increased accuracy of the recorded data and you'll be able to compare and contrast the fork, shock, distance and altitude graphs two by two simultaneously.
Likewise, from the left hand column you can access your bike or other models of Mondraker bikes, you have direct access to the www.mondraker.com web page and access to your account where all of your data is stored as well as a daily, weekly and yearly summary of all your MIND rides.

FAQs

How do I add a bike?
You can have multiple bikes linked to your account.
To add a new bike, go to "Bikes" and click on the "Add bike" option. You have three ways to do it:

  • Add via serial number.
  • Add by choosing your bike model from the catalogue.

For bikes with MIND, you can find both the Bluetooth name and password as well as the serial number on a QR code attached to your bike or in the owner's manual.

How do I connect to the bike?
Go to the "Bicycles" section, select the bike you want to connect to and press the "Connect" or the Bluetooth icon. You must have the Bluetooth on your phone switched on and be near the bike. Your phone will display a list of nearby devices available that you can connect to via Bluetooth; select the one with MIND (its name is usually MIND_ followed by six digits). The first time you log in you will be asked for a password, which you can find in the QR code that is attached to the bike or in the owner's manual.

How do I transfer a bike to another user?
Each bike is linked to just one user. If you want to transfer a bike that is linked to your account to someone else's account, you will first have to remove that bike from yours.
To do this:

  1. From the "Bikes" section click on the bike you want to "unlink".
  2. Click on: "Delete bike".
  3. When you are asked if you are sure you want to delete it, confirm your action by pressing the "Delete" button.

After this, your bike will be deleted and will be free for another user to add to their account.

I can't add a bike because it appears to be linked to another user
Each bike is linked to just one user. Therefore, before adding a bike to your myMondraker account, it must appear as "free"; that is, unlinked from any previous user's account.
If you want to add a bike to your account which is already linked to another user's account, go to "Bicycles" choose the "Add bike" option, select the bike you want to link to your account, and when you see the message saying that the bike is linked to another user, select the "Request transfer" option. This way, the person currently linked to the bike will get a notification to confirm and approve the transfer.
Once this is done, you will be able to link the bike to your app.

I've received a request to transfer my bike to another user
If you get a notification requesting a transfer it is because another user wants to link a bike (that you currently have linked to your myMondraker account) to their account. If you confirm the transfer, the bike will disappear from your account and will be added to the new owner's account. Please note that any activities left unsynchronized will remain visible to the new user.

I'm having trouble connecting to the bike via Bluetooth
If you do not see MIND among the devices available for Bluetooth connection, it may be due to the following:

  • You're too far away from the bike: Try to get closer to improve the signal.
  • MIND is turned off: check that the device is turned on. If not, it may be out of battery: please recharge it first.
  • It prompts you for a password: the first time you connect to the bike, you will be prompted for a password. You can find it in the QR code attached to the bike or in the owner's manual.

How do I adjust the sag?
With the sag setting you can customise the suspension settings of both front and rear suspension if the bike has both. The adjustment is based on the bike model, your own weight and your riding style. This functionality is only available for bikes with MIND.
To adjust the sag, go to "Bikes", select the bike you want to set up, connect your bike via Bluetooth and click on the "Set sag" button.
You will then see the steps you have to follow: you will be asked to input your riding weight and choose between three riding modes: Comfort, Standard or Racing and, depending on the data you input, the system will tell you which pressure to apply and the settings for the other parameters. To increase or reduce pressure as indicated, use a shock pump.
Once the changes have been made, it will tell you to get on the bike. This is best done while wearing the equipment you usually wear for your rides: helmet, shoes, hydration pack, etc. so that the weight you're setting the suspension up for is accurate. Sit on the bike and let your weight drop softly on the saddle and pedals.
Once on the bike, click on "Check". If the setting is correct, you will see the "Correct Setting" message. In the event that the parameters are not correct, an error message will tell you if you need to increase pressure or remove pressure from your rear shock or your front fork.
When you check these settings, the LED lights on the bike's device will light up as follows:

  • green lights: indicate a correct setting.
  • red lights: indicate pressure is too high, you need to reduce air pressure.
  • white lights: indicate pressure is too low, you need to increase air pressure.

Once the changes have been made to the corresponding front or back suspension, perform the verification process again.
If you have already set up the sag before, you will see the "Check sag" button. To check the settings, press the button, get on the bike and hit "Check setting". You will also be shown the "Correct setting" message, or by how much the pressure will need to be changed.

How do I recalibrate the bike again?
The bike is calibrated at the factory so it is only necessary to recalibrate it if the device sensor gets misaligned with the magnet integrated on the bike. This can happen due to a change of position of the device (after disassembling and reassembling the pieces), the device receiving a significant shock or other similar reasons.
To complete the calibration on bikes with MIND, go to the "Bikes" section, select the bike you want to recalibrate, then connect it via Bluetooth and select the "Recalibrate shock" option. From there you will be shown the following steps:

  • Deflate the shock: remove all air pressure from the rear shock by opening its valve.
  • Get on the bike to ensure that the shock bottoms out and empties itself completely then press the "Done" button and get off the bike.
  • Pump up the shock absorber: do it with a shock pump fitted with a manometer (pressure gauge), increasing the pressure to the recommended pressure for your bike model. Once the right pressure is reached, press the "Done" button.

Press "Check sag" to see if the calibration is correct. You will have to get on the bike and hit "Check Setting". You will see the "correct setting" or "error" message, so the system will tell you whether you need to further increase or decrease the air pressure.

How do I change the units of measure?
To change the units of distance or weight, go to the "Account" section and then to "Account settings". There you can change from kilometres to miles and from kilograms to pounds or vice versa.

How do I request technical support?
If you need to request a repair or report an issue, go to the "Bikes" section, select the bike the request is about, and select: "Request Support" shown in the Mondraker store that you've previously associated with your account. If you want to change your store, you can edit it from that same screen.
You will then see a form to select whether you require a warranty or repair, select the type of incident and upload pictures of both the incident, the bike, and the invoice or proof of purchase of the bike. You also have the option to include a message.
Once you click on "Send request" your request will be managed by Mondraker and forwarded to the store you have associated with your account.

My bike has been stolen. How can I report it?
To report a stolen bike, you must have previously filed a report with the police. Go to the Bicycles section, select the bike you want to report stolen and press the button: "My bike has been stolen." From there you will have to fill in a form with your information, the date and time it was stolen, as well as a photo of the Police Report. By pressing on "Report theft", the message will be received by Mondraker who will manage the issue for you from there.

How do I cancel a theft report?
In case you have found your bike or want to cancel the theft report, go to the "Bikes" section, select the bike you reported as stolen and select: "I've found my bike". From there you can send a message to Mondraker to confirm that the bike has been found.

How do I activate or deactivate the alarm?
To activate or deactivate the alarm (on MIND-equipped bikes), go to the "Bikes" section, select the bike and connect to it via Bluetooth. From that screen, select the option to activate or deactivate the alarm.
Once the alarm is activated, if the bike moves you will receive a warning notification in myMondraker.
Don't forget to deactivate it when you want to use the bike again.

How do I send the bike's recorded activity to my user account (sync activities)?
If your bike is equipped with MIND, myMondraker offers you the option to sync recordings from your bike to your phone or from your phone to the cloud.
You can see if you have activities to be synced from the icon on the top right of the app, or from the "Activities" section whenever you are connected to the bike (from the "Bikes" section, you select the bike and connect to it via Bluetooth).
Select the recordings to synchronize or delete. Once synchronized, they will appear on the activities list with all the available information.

How can I see the recorded ride information and edit it?
The "Rides" section shows all the activities synchronized from MIND to your user account. From the top box you can search by entering the name or date (in one of the following formats: 17/10/2025, 2025/10/17, 17-10-2025 or 2025-10-17).
On each activity, you will be able to see information such as the route map, time, distance, number of jumps etc. You can edit this from the icon at the top right of the screen if you want to change the name of the ride or remove any part of it. You can only delete the start or the end sections of the ride (such as the departure from or finish at the garage) but not parts recorded in the middle. When you delete a part of the ride the values will be recalculated and the graphs/stats will change accordingly.

How do I share my ride in Strava?
To share your ride (synced from MIND) on Strava, first sync myMondraker with your Strava account from the "Account" section, then "Linked Accounts" and "Link with Strava".
Once the accounts are linked, you can access the ride you want to share from the "Rides" section and share using the icon at the top right of the screen.

How do I change the notification settings?
From the "Account" section, go to "Settings": you can choose to "Allow Notifications". If you do so, you can select to receive all notifications or only those related to "Customer Support", "Bike Settings" or "Mondraker Information".
If you can't see myMondraker notifications it may be due to your phone's notification settings (rather than the app's). To change this, go to your phone's "Settings" and modify "myMondraker's notification options/permissions".

How can I access my bike's owner's manuals?
Access your bike from the "Bikes" section, and select the "More information" option: There you will see all the technical specs for the model of your bike and you can download the appropriate manuals if required.

How can I change the language or country settings in myMondraker?
From the "Account" section, go to "Language": There you can change to your preferred language and country.
Please note that changing the app's language may also change the content regarding Mondraker events or the available promotions you receive.

How do I contact Mondraker?
From the "Account" section go to "Contact": there you can fill out an enquiry form that will be sent directly to Mondraker.

How do I change the Mondraker dealer that is linked to my bike?
Log in to the "Bikes" section, and select the bike you wish to associate with a different Mondraker dealer. You can also do this from the "Account" section. Next to the name of the dealer you will see an "Edit" icon. This will take you to a list of dealers, ranked by distance (if you allow myMondraker to access your location) or by entering a post code. Once you find your dealer, press the "Link" button and it will update both your bike's file and your account.

How can I access the stats?
Access your global stats through either the "Rides" section or the "Account" section. You will be able to see information about your weekly/yearly average or the overall total from when you started recording your rides on MIND.

MIND device on your bike does not respond correctly or you cannot connect to the bike?
Along with each MIND a "Master Key" is included with which we can reset the system solving any connectivity issues that may happen. Simply insert the Master Key provided into the charging port of both the front and rear device, wait 5 seconds, remove it, wait 30 seconds for the entire system to reboot and reconnect. It's that simple. It is also important that you do not lose this Master Key, and that you visit your Mondraker dealer in case you have any trouble with your MIND-equipped bike.
