Page 7 • Dry thoroughly with a cloth or paper towel. • For optimal performance, lightly coat the cooking plates with a small amount of cooking oil or cooking spray. Notice: when heating your panini grill for the first time, you might notice slight smoke or odor. This is a common occurrence with many heating appliances and does not affect the safety of your appliance.

Intended use Before the initial use, remove any promotional or packaging materials and ensure that the cooking plates are clean and free of dust. If necessary, wipe them with a damp cloth. For best results, apply a teaspoon of cooking oil onto the non-stick plates.

Cleaning • Always unplug the panini grill and allow it to cool before cleaning, as cleaning is more effective when the unit is slightly warm. • No disassembly is required for cleaning, and immersion in water or dishwasher use should be avoided.
