    Use HWT-NVR800-dedicated SATA disks as recommended by the vendor. Before installing the disks, ensure that the power supply is disconnected and have a Phillips screwdriver and hard disk screws (that can be found in the HWT-NVR800 packing box) ready. Bottom-Mounted Installation (for the HWT-NVR800 with One or Two Disk Trays) Bottom-mounted installation is applicable to the HWT-NVR800 with hard disks that need securing to the chassis bottom.
  • Page 6 Close the chassis cover and secure it using the screws removed in Step 1. Installing Hard Disks on the HWT-NVR800 with Two Disk Trays Use a PH1 screwdriver to remove the left, right, and rear screws of the chassis cover, and take off the chassis cover.
  • Page 7 Close the chassis cover and secure it using the screws removed in Step 1. Bracket-Mounted Installation (for the HWT-NVR800 with Four Disk Trays) Use a PH1 screwdriver to remove the rear screws of the chassis cover, and take off the chassis cover.
  • Page 8 Loosen the screws on the hard disk bracket. Secure one side of the hard disks with screws. Secure the other side of the hard disks with screws. Secure the bracket. Close the chassis cover and secure it using the screws removed in Step 1.

    HWT-NVR800 has been connected to the Internet. Connect to cameras. (Only for the PoE model) Connect cameras to the PoE port of the HWT-NVR800 or the switch connected to the HWT-NVR800. The HWT-NVR800 automatically discovers the cameras.
