3. MOUNTING The chosen mounting site of the panel must be clean, dry, not subject to shock or vibration and easily accessible. The temperature must be in between the temperature range of –5°C with +50°C. The relative humidity must not be more than 95%. The control unit should be mounted on a flat surface in such a way that, the indicators should be at the eye-level and must not be mounted near the sources of excessive heat or cold and inside of any cabinet.
5. PROGRAMMING ML-501XX FIREFIGHTER’S TELEPHONE CONTROL UNIT 5.1 Connection to Telephone Control Unit Te settings for PC’s ethernet and local network connections must be done to program Telephone Control Unit. 5.2 PROGRAMMING 5.2.1 Number specifications of analogue subscriber The telephone which used on the system is connected to analogue subscriber input on Telephone Control Unit described on Figure 1. The telephone numbers on this input must be identified. To do that, following steps must be done: - Analogue Subscriber 12 is selected from Users field on 3rd row of the menu screen and the following screen opens.

5.2.3 Programming the IP telephone on Supervisor software IP telephone field is one of the fields on Supervisor graphically monitoring and control software. If there are firefighter’s telephones or telephone modules on addressable fire alarm panel, these telephones dialed from IP telephone field on Supervisor application. Also telephones on site can directly dials IP telephone without need to push any number.
6. SUPERVISOR SCREEN The IP telephone must be identified on Supervisor software. Hence, External Programs field selected at Settings menu on Supervisor. At this field the integration of the IP telephone with Supervisor software can be done. Then, Xphone IP telephone program is installed to PC, and this program’s shortcut identified at this field to make integration.

IP telephone is connecting to control unit via local network permanently. If there is no problem on the settings, connection starts directly.
