    3. Battery Power Options 3. Battery Power Options The following battery configurations can be used to power X80 Remote Flash. Option 1: 12V, 75AH Battery In this configuration, the Remote Flash is powered from a single 12V 75Ah battery through the supplied external battery cable.

    3. Battery Power Options 3.1. Connecting 12V 75AH Battery NOTE: X80 Remote Flash uses a lot of power during IR flash activation. Make sure your 12V, 75AH battery is fully charged. At full IR output power, the Remote Flash will draw about 7 to 8 Amps (maximum 10 Amps) from the battery.

    3. Battery Power Options Use X80 Remote App to check the battery level and status of the Remote Flash. Open the X80 Remote app and make sure you are in range of the Remote Flash. In the app, tap on the Remote Flash to connect to it.

    4. Register Remote Flash 4. Register Remote Flash Before X80 Remote Flash can be used in the field, it must be registered to an X80 wireless network. X-Series Network Manager must be running and connected to a base. Instructions below show how to manually register a Remote Flash to the X-Series Network Manager software.

In the software, drag the unregistered Remote Flash into the network to register. If the registration is successful, the device will be added to the network.

The following groups of controls are available. Commands Commands section has commands such as Check Status and Settings that are common for all X80 devices as well as Remote Flash specific commands.
