Installation and Use
Installing the Transmitter
1.
Carefully remove the bulkhead or accessory port plug
from the housing.
2.
Remove the nut from the end of the transmitter. Check
that the o-ring on the transmitter and the sealing surface
on the housing are clean.
3.
Very lightly lubricate the visible surface of the o-ring and
the sealing surface of the housing.
4.
Thread the transmitter into the 1/2-20 hole in the top of
the housing being careful not to cross-thread.
5.
Tighten using your fingers until snug Do not over-tighten.
6.
Re-attach the nut on the inside of the case. While holding
the transmitter in place on the outside of the housing,
tighten the nut snug with a 5/8" wrench
Do not tighten the retaining nut without holding the

transmitter in place. Turning the retaining nut can cause
the transmitter to loosen and break the o-ring seal.

Installing the Battery Holder
Test fit the battery holder with a camera installed to

find a place where it can adhere to the inside wall of the
housing without interfering with control functions. The
on/off switch on the battery holder should be visible.
The battery holder should be positioned such that it
is able to easily slide in and out of the holder after
installation.
For best adhesion, attach the battery holder bracket to
»
the inside of the housing in a cool climate and wait 24
hours before exposing to heat and humidity.
