- Page 6 Step 2 2A - Loosely position & square up forward crossbar, leaving enough space back from connection box to allow plugs to seat squarely. 2B - Measure distance between solar bracket holes, and loosely position rear crossbar accordingly (will make final adjustments after panels are installed). 2C - Roll (4) 1/4-20 15T-NUTs into each crossbar (8 total) where appropriate to line up with solar bracket mounting holes...
- Page 7 Step 3 3A - Test fit solar panels to verify crossbar placement so T-NUTS line up with Solar Brackets. Make any necessary adjustments. 3B - Remove Panel. Tighten all crossbars brackets (4). 3C - Insert 1x 1/2" BL SCREW through each Solar Bracket into the 1/4-20 15T-NUTs that you placed in the last step (apply threadlock)(8 total).
- Page 8 Step 4 4A - Unplug stock solar panel from roof box. 4B - Plug solar panel leads into roof input box one at a time, checking ZAMP controller to ensure connectivity/input, and for polarity errors. *Note: If you have a New Zamp Roof Box, first attach (2) Zamp ATP to SAE adapters to each solar lead (from step 1).
