    NOTE The used environment will effect the device life span and reliability. To ensure long service life and stable operation, we suggest to install iStoragE3 series device in the environment where has no direct sunshine, rain or snow. CAUTION The installation and operation for iStoragE3 should be accord with the local laws and regulations.

    The size in above figure is the minimum requirements for heat dissipation, for actual case, please take the space of installation and  maintenance into account. The installation space of iStoragE3 series battery packs and inverter is the same. In above figure, we take 1 INV + 4 BAT as an  example to illustrate.

CAUTION  During wiring, please ensure that the inverter is power off, and the voltage between other pots to BAT+ and BAT- should be lower than 36V.  While connecting the inner wires of system, it is necessary to make the handle on the battery pack vertical to the side and lead the battery +/- and BMS communication wires go through the handle, and then connect them.

  • Page 14 PV Connection CAUTION ·When installation, it must use the equipped DC terminals to avoid inverter damage. ·It is recommended to use independent switch for each PV input, and before connecting, the switches must be off. We suggest to use the special DC switch (rated voltage is 1000V, rated current is more than 20A). ·Switch off the DC switch and external DC switches before connecting the PV array.

  • Page 17 LOAD Connection Step1 Ensure that the external load switch is OFF. NOTE If the load connection adopts multi-core wires, the wiring must go through the side panel. So, it is necessary to knock-off the wiring  hole of load on the decoration panel, as shown in following figure. If the load connection adopts the single-core wires, the wiring should go from back of the inverter.

  • Page 21 Parallel Connection (Optional) PARALLEL Press 2 NOTE RSD is optional function for iStoragE3. When RSD function is selected, it is no need to do other connection to supply power for inner RSD communication board. When the RSD function is not selected, but external RSD needs to be used, it is necessary to connect pin11 and pin12 to supply power for external RSD communication board by yourself.

    Turn on the external load switch. Step2 Turn on the external grid switch. CAUTION After turning on the grid switch, iStoragE3 series energy storage system will be started automatically. Step3 Turn on the DC switch on the inverter and external PV switch. Step4 Perform the following operation according to the actual condition.
