VINIA is a multichannel audio generator and processor module.
Each of the 8 channels can be independently configured as a multi effect processor, VCO, sample player...
The module can be used both with jacks up or down.
Audio outputs are DC coupled so it can be used to generate complex CV modulation sources too.
There are 2 types of modulation in Vinia, the first is stepped (occurs every 1,4 milliseconds approx.) and very
flexible, any modulation source can modify any parameter of any track. The second is the
modulation' (44,1KHz), only a few parameters admit this type and both sources and destinations will be within
the same track.
The Constructor allows configuring the chain of audio source & processors for every channel. Add, replace,
move or mute up to 11 effects per channel. Clinking on any element of the chain will take us to the editor
where each parameter can be adjusted, and clicking on any parameter will take us to the modulation settings
for it.

  • Page 6 Global view This view displays information about all channels, it shows the name of the first element in the audio chain (the audio source / instrument) plus the activity of the audio inputs, envelopes, LFOs and CV inputs. Clicking on the right encoder will toggle between Main Menu and Global View.
  • Page 7 Constructor This is the interface to add effects to a channel, also replace, move, delete or bypass them. A maximum of 11 effects can be added to a chain, apart from the audio source & output. Left encoder navigates the chain of effects. Depending if a slot or a line is selected, left click will perform EDIT or ADD effect.

    Apart from the regular modulation (which happens every 1,4 milliseconds) there’s an audio rate modulation in Vinia which is calculated on every sample. For the contrary to the regular modulation, the audio rate one is available only for a few parameters of a few audio sources & processors.
