Thank you for purchasing the SLR2700 Solar Charger. This manual contains instructions
on how to properly use your rechargeable battery pack. This battery pack functions as a
backup power device with 5V outputs ideal for charging iPhone®, iPod®, MP3 players, cell
phones, Bluetooth® headsets, and other small electronic devices.
Safety Precautions
Please read the following before using the product. Incorrect use or incompatibility with
your device may result in reduced battery performance or damage to your device.
- Check device voltage for compatibility with this product.
- Do not attempt to disassemble this product.
- Store and operate between 32°F - 113°F.
- Do not keep this product in contact with liquids.
- Do not place this product near a heat source or flame.
- Do not shake or throw the battery device.
- Do no crush or puncture the battery.
- Recharge the battery every 3 months when not in use to keep the battery fresh.
- Do not overcharge. You should not keep the battery in continuous charging for more
than 24 hours.

*For best results charge the solar panel using direct sunlight. Indoor lighting will only give
about 1/10th the power of direct sunlight. The light may be GREEN while indoors, but may
not have enough power to fully charge the battery.
Operating Instructions
1. Always charge your SLR2700 the first time for a full 8 hours from AC or DC before
regular use. Standard charging times will be shorter thereafter. Solar charge should be
used for backup power, not to fully recharge the device.
There are 3 methods to charge your SLR2700:
a. Set the charger in direct sunlight with the solar panel facing up. The GREEN light
will go on to show that Solar Power is being used.
b. Use the included AC and USB cable to charge from any standard wall outlet.
The GREEN light on the battery will go on to confirm that the battery is charging.
Charging is complete after 3-4 hours.
c. Use the included DC and USB cable to charge from any standard car lighter plug.
The GREEN light on the battery will go on to confirm that the battery is charging.
Charging is complete after 4-5 hours.
* There is no battery level indicator on this model. For best results charge the battery daily
or leave in sunlight during the day to maintain a full charge.
2. Use the included USB Tip Jack cable and insert into the "OUTPUT" port on the device.
3. Find your compatible tip and push into jack end of cable, and twist to secure.
4. Plug the tip end into the device you wish to charge and check your device screen/LED to
see that charging has commenced. The LED light on the battery should turn RED when
charging and GREEN when charging is complete.
5. Depending on your device and usage patterns, charging can take 2-5 hours
