Tipicamente i valori INCREMENTAL e UPDATE impostati di default sono validi per tutte le CAM, pertanto si consiglia di non modificarli. y CAPMT Resize: se abilitata abilitando l’apposita casella si imposta la CAM per decriptare solo l’audio e il video di un programma, mentre se disabilitato si decripta tutto: audio, video, ttx, sottotitoli, MHP ecc.

  • Page 16 Cliccando sul pulsante <proprietà del programma> viene visualizzata la schermata di figura 10: Fig. 10 Nella prima tabella si possono modificare, scrivendo direttamente sull’apposito spazio, alcuni parametri del programma come: il nome, il provider, il SID, il PID della PMT. Una volta modificato il parametro può essere ripristinato (rimesso l’originale riportato nella seconda colonna) semplicemente cliccando sulla freccia a U sulla destra dello spazio per la modifica.

È infatti possibile cambiare scrivendolo nell’apposito spazio i seguenti PID: PCR video stream, audio stream, teletext, MHP, application information table. The STATUS section allows you to check the currently installed software version and the corresponding serial number. The INPUT section displays the status of the inputs, showing key data related to the reception level and quality parameters (CBER and MER), as well as the name of the received transponder.
  • Page 35 Operating instructions IMPORTANT: In Universal mode, selecting LOOP for an input means that the input signal will undergo multiple amplifications and attenuations internally in the device, which could negatively affect signal reception in weak or highly disturbed signal conditions. If there are reception problems in LOOP mode, try disabling this mode and supplying the input signal directly to each connector.
  • Page 36 5.2.3 COMMON INTERFACE CONFIGURATION (FOR D-MATRIX-8S-8T ONLY) Through the menu CONFIGURATION -> COMMON INTERFACE -> CAM 1 / CAM 2, you can access the configuration page for the CAM modules inserted in the respective slots. The new page will appear as shown in the figure below: Fig.

  • Page 38 y CAPMT Management and CAPMT Sending: allow you to modify the CAM’s decryption management by selecting different modes from the dropdown menu. Typically, the default values, INCREMENTAL and UPDATE, are valid for all CAMs, so it is recommended not to modify them. y CAPMT Resize: if enabled, it configures the CAM to decrypt only the audio and video of a program.
  • Page 39 Operating instructions Typically, the factory default values for these parameters allow for the generation of very robust MUXes with high transmission quality, so it is recommended to keep these values and modify them only in specific cases where a particular configuration is required.   • Page 40 The position (or priority) determines the importance of the programs and, therefore, which one will be cut first in case of bitrate overflow. For example, position 1 = highest priority, meaning the most important program and the most protected (see the “Programming Guidelines” section). The LCN and LCN HD values should be set so that each program generated at output, even across multiple devices, has a distinct value.

Given the total bitrate of an outgoing MUX, determined based on the standard and modulation parameters chosen, the total bandwidth of the associated programs should occupy a significantly lower bandwidth to avoid malfunction or loss of lower-priority programs.

    IMPORTANT: To avoid bitrate overflow, the bitrate must always be kept sufficiently lower than the maximum threshold defined by the modulation settings used. It is important to note that high-definition programs, transmitted with dynamic bitrate, can have transmission peaks up to 20 Mbit/s. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the installer, as mentioned, to monitor bitrate peaks during programming and to gather the necessary information about how the channels to be distributed will be transmitted.

Le champ de sélection “ASSOCIER À” permet de définir le mode de fonctionnement pour le slot CAM sélectionné : Si vous choisissez l’option INPUT 1 / INPUT 2 / INPUT 3 / INPUT X, la liste des programmes reçus de cet input sera affichée.
