    This chapter provides information you should know before using the product. About the Chassis FA-UNIT-F14BE is a chassis used to mount a backplane and SBC and configure a computer system in combination with expansion boards and various drives. FA-UNIT-F14ME is a chassis used to mount a motherboard and configure a computer system in combination with expansion boards and various drives.

    3. Installing the Motherboard Installing Disk Drives FA-UNIT-F14BE/FA-UNIT-F14ME can have three 5-inch drives and three 3.5-inch drives built in it. Preparation (1) Turn the power switch off. (2) Pull the power plug of the unit from the wall outlet. Installing Disk Drives (1) Remove the screws fastening the top cover, then remove the cover.

By installing the face unit, the switch operation section and drive section can be covered with a cover with key lock. This prevents unauthorized operations.
