BATTERY & WHEEL SETUP
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove Transport Strap
Your machine may be fitted with a green transport strap that secures the motor frame to the exterior frame. This was to protect the motors during
shipping. Remove the green transport strap before starting the machine.
Battery or Power Module Installation
Your battery may be shipped separately
check and correctly install the battery.
If you have purchased an External Battery Module, Power Module or Hybrid Module, you may need to install the module onto your machine if it
has not already been installed
A. Two wires are protruding from the battery cage
The battery is NOT installed inside the machine.
The battery will be shipped separately and will need to be installed
as per the instructions below.
1. Ensure the machine power switch is OFF. Unscrew the cover plate and set aside.
2. Attach the red cable inside the machine to the red battery terminal and the
black cable inside the machine to the black battery terminal.
3. Place the battery inside the battery cage.
4. Secure the cover plate with the four screws.
B: The battery is installed inside the machine but not connected
The battery is installed inside the machine but due to safety precautions it has not
been connected. The battery will need to be connected before using the machine.
Follow the instructions below to connect the battery.
1. Ensure the machine power switch is OFF. Unscrew the cover plate and set aside
2. Attach the red cable inside the machine to the red battery terminal and the black
cable inside the machine to the black battery terminal.
3. Place the battery inside the battery cage.
4. Secure the cover plate with the four screws.
C: External Battery, Mains Power, or Hybrid Module Installation
1. Ensure the machine power switch is OFF. Unscrew the cover plate. Retain the
screws and discard the cover plate.
2. Locate the red and black battery cables inside the machine.
3. Attach the red cable inside the machine to the red cable of the module and black
cable inside the machine to the black cable of the module.
4. Position the module inside the battery cage and secure the module cover plate
with the four screws.
Wheel Installation
Unscrew the nut and slide the wheel onto the bolt. Check the flat side of the bolt head sits
flat against the machine base. Fasten the nut with tool provided.
