    5 pin DIN adapter from the unit and plug the keyboard directly into the miniDIN on the KE-XTUSB. 3) Connect the USB cable included with the unit to the KE-XTUSB and then to a USB port on the target computer. Use a USB port directly on the computer or a USB connector on a self powered USB hub.

    Since the unit is also powering the keyboard, and the vintage keyboards can have significant current requirements, the KE-XTUSB must be connected to a direct USB port on the PC, or a self powered USB Hub. The unit should not be connected to a bus powered USB Hub.
