    Before you begin installing your Vicon IR lights, note the following safety information. Warning To reduce the risk of strangulation, if the flexible cabling connected to the Vicon IR light is within arm's reach, ensure that the cabling is effectively fixed to the nearest structure. Caution IR Light (850nm) EN62471 Risk Group 0 (Exempt).

    The light is supplied with a Category 5 (Cat 5) cable for PoE connection and a Cat 5 RJ45 adapter. The signal cable of the light is an RCA cable, for connection to a Vicon Lock. Both cables are permanently fitted to the light. Extension solutions for both may be required for installation.
