Important information
The product must be installed by a qualified Gas Network RGI (Registered Gas Installer).
The product has been independently tested and certified by an ISO 17025 and ISO 17065 accredited
laboratory.
The product has been tested to work within these temperatures: -20 °C to +50 °C.
Warranty: 5 years from installation
The product must only be installed in domestic premises and with compatible ECV type (see table).
The product is only suitable for indoor installations.
Do not install if the product appears to be damaged in any way.
Do not use any cleaning chemicals on any part of this product.
Do not spray product with oils or lubricants.
Do not over tighten threads.
Warning: Only press 'STOP' button when attached to a compatible ECV.
EasyAssist® Remote is a thermally activated
shut-off device (DIN 3586:2003). The thermal fuse
activates at +57 °C, triggering the mechanism to
close the ECV.
The thermal fuse is visible through a viewing window
on the Button as shown:
Check the thermal fuse is in place and intact on installation.
If missing or damaged the EasyAssist® Remote cannot be used and must be replaced.

Pozi screwdriver (PZ1)
12 mm or 13 mm Socket or Nut driver (to fit M8 Handle-Nut) - size dependent on ECV type
10 mm Spanner
2.5 mm Hex key
Drill, 5mm drill bit and appropriate hardware for wall mounting or [OPD-0014060] mounting bracket kit

For Continental ECV use the hex drive locking Turn off gas by rotating the Emergency Control screw and for Sperryn ECV the slotted drive Valve (ECV) handle 90 degrees anti-clockwise.

To adjust the cable, using a 10 mm spanner, touches the underside of the Button Housing.
