PURITY AND CONVERGENCE ADJUSTMENT COLOUR PURITY ADJUSTMENT (1) Before colour purity adjustment,warm up the TV set over 15 minutes and fully degauss. (2) Receive pure white signal in AV status and press PIC.MODE key to set picture in DYNAMIC mode. (3) Loosen the clamp screw of the deflection yoke and pull the deflection yoke towards the purity magnet.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS SETUP Insert The Batteries Remove the battery cover by pressing it and sliding it down. Insert the two 1.5V (AAA size) batteries making sure the polarity (+ or -) of the batteries matches the polarity marks inside the unit. Replace the battery cover by sliding it in until you hear a click sound.

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY REAR COVER REMOVAL 1.Remove screws from the rear cover as shown in Figure 1. 2.Remove the rear cover. SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS General Adjustment Enter factory mode CH I/II SOUND MODE RECALL Press keys on remote control unit to enter factory mode. Press 0-9 numeric keys to enter factory menu. Select the item using the keys and adjust using the keys.

SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS Receive 60HZ cross hatch pattern. Press PIC. MODE key to set picture in STANDARD mode. Adjust VSLOPE to obtain half of the crosshatch. Adjust VSCOR to obtain picture s best vertical pin cushion. Adjust VSHIFT to obtain picture s vertical center at the center of CRT screen in factory mode.
