WITH ADJUSTABLE DC VOLUME CONTROL, NON-CLIP POWER LIMIT AND SSM Introduction This section provides an overview of the PAM8019E audio amplifier evaluation board (PAM8019E EVB). It includes a brief description of the module and a list of EVB specifications. Figure 1 shows the PAM8019E EVB.
Mute Control The PAM8019E has an active-high mute pin, MUTE. A logic-high on this pin places the device in mute mode, and a logic-low on this pin places the device in operating mode. Press and hold button SW2 on the EVB to place the PAM8019E in mute mode. Release button SW2 to restart normal operation.

Output Filter The PAM8019E EVB provides a Ferrite Bead - Capacitor EMI filter, which can be obtained by populating the filter components: FB1, FB2, FB3, FB4, C8, C10, C15, and C13 (see Table 1 for typical components). The filtered output is useful in evaluating performance parameters for the PAM8019E by using measurement equipment such as Audio Precision.
