    The device may need to be recharged every 4+ days. The EvieMED Ring is connected to an iPhone 8 or later, running iOS 16 or later (copyright Apple, Inc., Cupertino, CA) via Bluetooth Low Energy (copyright SIG, Kirkland, Washington), which in turn is connected to external cloud storage via Wi-Fi or cellular service for data processing, calculations, trending, and storage.

Only the EvieMED Pulse Oximeter provides medical data for clinical decision-making.

    The Ring must be connected to view historical data and sleep data. • o Use the Ring sizer provided to size your finger: ring fit is important, and the EvieMED Ring should always be comfortable. o If the Ring is too loose or too tight or not worn with the arrow in the up position, the device may be uncomfortable and/or data loss may occur.

    EvieMED Ring Instructions for Use (IFU)/User Guide For Prescription Use Only EVIEMED RING CHARGER • The Charger can charge the Ring when not connected to a USB AC Adapter, allowing you to take it anywhere and recharge your Ring. The LED light on the outside of the Charger in the front will indicate how much battery the Charger has left.
  • Page 7 If there is a new firmware update available, a local notification will be sent once a day to inform user about it until the firmware has been updated. • Visual Indicators on the EvieMED Ring When worn, the LED lights on the Ring will turn on to indicate when data is being collected. LED lights can be green as shown on the right or the LED lights can be red.

    This is the toggle at the top of the Evie Today opening screen of the app. Evie will have a light background and EvieMED will have a dark background when on the wellness side of the app.
  • Page 9: Setting Up And Using The Eviemed Ring

    Before moving forward with setting up the EvieMED Ring, make sure it is fully charged by plugging in the Charger to an outlet for two hours. Keep the EvieMED Ring inside the Charger. A USB-C cable is provided, but you will need an AC adapter (also called a wall Charger or power brick) to plug the Charger into a wall. The light on the Charger will turn green when fully charged.

    Daily Summary (Evie Wellness) o The main screen of the Evie (wellness) feature of the app will always be set to the Today screen which provides a summary of your day, including everything related to activity and recovery. Filling the entire Daily Summary circle is achieved through meeting your combined daily goals for steps, activity, and sleep (all customizable within your profile settings).

If it does, ensure that your phone and the ring are charged, the ring is in the charger, and the charger/ring and phone are close together.

If you elect to start tracking your period, the app will need some additonal information to calculate the start of your next estimated period start.

    Rinse the Ring with mild soap such as dish soap (e.g., Dawn) and warm tap water (about 100 °F or 38 °C, comfortably warm like a slightly hot bath) weekly or when soiled to clean all surfaces of the EvieMED Ring. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

    Understanding cybersecurity risks The EvieMED Ring is a device that utilizes software to connect with a network and can become vulnerable to cybersecurity threats. A secure Wi-Fi or Cellular connection is not required for a secure connection from the EvieMED Mobile Application (App) to the EvieMED Cloud (Cloud).
