AMPLIFIER
1. DSP PRESET: turn the DSP PRESET knob (2) and press it to select the desired DSP preset:
•
MUSIC: most widely used option for all-around use.
•
DJ: light attenuation of the bass frequencies to make it more comfortable for DJ's who are
standing behind the speakers
•
VOICE: optimizes the clarity and voice quality in speeches.
•
STANDARD SUB LEVEL: preset for indoor use (short throw)
•
BOOST SUB LEVEL: preset for outdoor use where longer distances are covered (long throw)
2. DSP PRESET rotary knob: Used to select the desired DSP preset.
3. BLUETOOTH button: press the button if you want to pair the speaker with a mobile device
4. BLUETOOTH LED: when the Bluetooth button is pressed, this LED blinks while searching for a device
to pair with. When the LED stays lit, it shows the unit is paired with a Bluetooth transmitting device.
5. PWR LED: this LED is lit while the unit is powered and switched on.
6. SIG LED: this LED is lit when an audio signal is detected.
7. CLIP LED: this LED blinks when a signal overload is detected. If the LED stays lit (not just flashing from
time to time), you should immediately turn down the signal input
8. RCA LINE A INPUT: This input is the same as the combo input (9) but accepts "RCA / cinch" unbalanced
line level audio signals like for example: CD-player, tuner, MP3-player, ...
Attention: although the cinch input is stereo, the signal will be converted to mono inside the speaker.
9. LINE A INPUT: this combo connector accepts XLR- as well as Jack-connectors. This input is used for
balanced / unbalanced LINE inputs only.
10. LINE A LEVEL control: with this knob you can set the level of the LINE A input. This can be the RCA
inputs (8), the COMBO input (9) or the BLUETOOTH input.
Attention: To prevent damage to your speaker cabinet, please set the BT / LINE A LEVEL to zero before
you connect the input. Once connected you can turn the level up to the desired level.
IMPORTANT: never use more than one input at the same time.
11. LINE / MIC switch: used to select the type of input signal you will use on the MIC/LINE B input (12)
IMPORTANT: NEVER change the position of this switch while the channel volume (13) is open !
12. MIC/LINE B input: This combo input accepts both balanced and unbalanced microphones or line input.
Attention: To prevent damage to your speaker cabinet, please set the MIC / LINE B LEVEL to zero
before you connect the input. Once connected you can turn the level up to the desired level.
13. LINE B LEVEL control: with this knob you can set the level of the MIC / LINE B input.
14. MIX OUT: This balanced output (3pin-XLR) contains the mixed signal of both LINE A and and MIC / LINE
B inputs.
15. RCA power input + FUSE holder: use the supplied power cord
to power the unit
16. POWER switch: Used to switch the internal amplifier on/off.
The green Status led (5) is lit while the cabinet is switched on.
17. VOLTAGE SELECTOR: always check the voltage that is used
at your location. If needed, set the voltage BEFORE you
connect the unit to the mains. Don't forget to adapt the fuse if
needed.
