    INTRODUCTION Congratulations, and thank you for purchasing our Super Pro Ranger 5100 Training Collar with “Add- On” capability, allowing the unit to expand up to an 4-dog unit. The SPR5100 features a 2 MILE Range made possible by our Patented MAXX-Range 360 antenna technology to ensure positive FM signal reception, no matter the terrain.

    Low-Med-High Continuous Programming Your SPR 5100 includes our Continuous Low-Medium -High feature set. This enables you to select a stimulation level for your normal “Continuous” button, and with just the press of the “MC” button, you can immediately go up a level in stimulation to a “Medium” setting.

  • Page 11 COLLAR UNIT PARTS & FUNCTIONS Battery Charging Receptacle - The charging cable plugs into the charging receptacle for recharging (located on the the collar receiver facing the dog’s neck). After charging, always close the charging re- ceptacle with the rubber plug to prevent foreign particles from getting inside the unit.

    SmartLED SPR5100 collar units are equipped with the SmartLED battery status system. The SmartLED system lets you know when the unit is charging and when the charging is complete. It also gives you a status on how much charge is remaining in the battery during use, when it needs charging, and when the batteries will need to be replaced.

    CHARGING THE BATTERIES SPR5100 collar unit equipped with rechargeable Lithium batteries, which are not memory sensitive and do not require depletion before recharging. Although batteries come partially charged from the factory, it is recommended that they are given a full charge (about 3-4 hours) before initial use. Battery Charging Procedure 1.

    TURNING ON/OFF The Transmitter is always in a permanent sleep state. It is only ON when a button is being pressed and does not need to be turned off by the user. If the Transmitter does not activate, make sure battery is fully charged and LED light on remote is green.

    TESTING Before testing, make sure that both units are fully charged and the power to the Collar Receiver is “ON”. To Test the Electronic Stimulation: 1. Place the tester firmly on the contacts of the Collar Receiver. 2. Set the intensity (note - an intensity level setting of 4 or less might not be enough to light the tester).

    PROGRAMMING THE COLLAR When adding an “Add-On” collar, the collar will need to be programmed to the transmitter. If your current collar unit is not responding to the transmitter, it may also need to be reprogrammed to the transmitter. 1. Hold the Transmitter Magnet Indicator (M) directly against the Magnetic Activation Switch (M) on the side of the Collar Unit.

    SETTING THE INTENSITY LEVEL It is very important to set the correct intensity level on your SPR5100 Training System before beginning your training sessions to provide the proper level of stimulation without over-stimulating your dog. 1. This changes our normal one year parts and labor warranty to a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on parts and a one year warranty on labor.
