BEFORE FIRST USE


Operating the unit without removing the plastic wrap may result in product failure.

  1. Flip the air purifier over. Twist the filter cover counter clockwise and remove it.
    BEFORE FIRST USE - Step 1
  2. Take out the filter with plastic packaging, tear off the plastic packaging, place the filter back into the air purifier (Regardless of direction.).
  3. Replace the filter cover and twist clockwise to lock.

CONTROL

CONTROL

Standby Statu.
Plug in, the buzzer rings once, all indicators lights up and then turns off except , device is standby.
ON/OFF or FAN SPEED
Tap to turn on the purifier. The purifier starts on Level 1 by default. Continue operation to switch to 2/SLEEP/OFF.
CHECK FILTER or LIGHTS ON/OFF
Tap to turn on/off the top/button lights. When all lights on, tap to turn off the button lights, continue operation to switch to top lights off/all lights off/button lights on/all lights on.
Note: When lights up, filter should be checked or replaced. After replace a new filter, long press for 5 seconds to reset the service life of filter. When off, device is reset successfully.
TIMMER
Tap to set the timer to 2H/4H/8H/TIMMER OFF. When set time reach, device will turn off automatically.

HOW TO USE AROMATHERAPY FUNCTION


Open the aromatherapy cover at the top of the machine.


Drop the essential oil into the sponge on top and replace the aromatherapy cover.

  1. Unplug the power supply before adding the essential oils.
  2. Only use the droppers come with the essential oils, do not pour in directly.
  3. Add 4-5 drops each time.

  1. Pre-Filter
    Pre-Filter captures dust, hair, lint, pet fur and fibers.
  2. H13 True HEPA Filter
    H13 True HEPA Filter traps pollen, pet dander, fine dust and smoke particles.
  3. Activated Carbon Filter
    Activated Carbon Filter helps captures and neutralizes cooking smell, smoke, odors, fumes and VOCs.

REPLACE THE FILTER

When lights up, it's time to replace filter. This will occur when acumulated use time reach 2000 hours.

  1. Unplug the air purifier. Flip the air purifier over and twist the filter cover counter-clockwise to remove.

  2. Lift up to remove the old filter.
  3. Put the new filter back into the device (Regardless of direction.).
  4. Turn it clockwise to tighten the filter cover.

  5. Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface.
  6. Plug in and turn on the air purifier.
  7. Long press for 5 seconds. The indicator of will turn off when successfully reset.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE


Unplug the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.

Cleaning your Air Purifier

  1. Wipe the outside of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, wipe the housing with a damp cloth, then immediately dry. DO NOT USE WATER, WAX POLISH, OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
  2. Vacuum the air outlet & inlet of the air purifier

Cleaning your Pre-filter
The outer pre-filter should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks to increase the efficiency and extend the life of your filter. Clean the pre-filter using a soft brush or vacuum to remove hair, dust, and large particles.
NOTE:
Do not clean the filter with water or other liquids.
Do not clean the True HEPA and Activated Carbon Filters.
Moisture may damage the filter. This air purifier should be used in an area with a humidity level below 85% RH. If you use the air purifier in excessively humid areas, the surface of the filter will become moldy.
Do not add essential oils to the filter. The filter will become damaged by the oil and will eventually release an unpleasant smell.
Do not use oil diffusers near the air purifier.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Problem Possible Reasons Solutions
Air purifier cannot be turned on or no respond to button controls. No electricity. Check that the unit is properly plugged into an electrical outlet.
The air purifier malfunctioned. Contact FreAire (email: support@freaire.net)
Power cord is damaged.
The outlet is damaged. Try a different outlet.

Airflow is significantly reduced

The airflow is blocked by plastic wrap of filter.
Note: Air filter was pre-installed protected by plastic wrap.
The plastic wrap of filter must be removed before first use.
There is no enough clearance for the air comes in.
  1. Leave 30cm clearance on all sides of the air purifier.
  2. Keep air purifier away from anything that would block airflow, such as curtains.
The Pre-filter maybe clogged by large particles so that the airflow is blocked Clean the Pre-filter. Refer to CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
Air purifier makes an unusual noise while the fan is on. The airflow is blocked by plastic wrap of filter. The plastic wrap of filter must be removed before first use.
Appliance is on uneven place. Make sure the air purifier is operating on a hard, flat, even surface.
Appliance may be damaged, or foreign object inside. Contact FreAire (email: support@freaire.net)

Strange smell comes from the purifier

It is time to clean/replace the filter. Clean the filter or replace it.
Appliance worked in an area with a humidity level above 85% RH. The surface of the filter will become moldy.
  1. This air purifier should be used in an area with a humidity level below 85% RH.
  2. Replace your filter.

Poor air purification quality

A low speed is used When air quality is in Polluted. Increase the fan speed.
  1. The airflow is blocked by plastic wrap of filter.
  2. The airflow of inlet/outlet is blocked.
  1. The plastic wrap of filter must be removed before first use.
  2. Make sure no objects are blocking the sides or top of the air purifier (the inlet or outlet).
The pre-filter may be clogged by large particles, such as air or lint, blocking airflow. Clean the pre-filter. Refer to CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
Windows or doors not closed. Keep windows and doors closed while the air purifier is on.
The indicator light of is still on after replacing the filter. Air purifier was not reset after replacing filter. Long press for 5 seconds to reset the air purifier.

  8. The power plug must be firmly inserted in the power socket.
  9. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact qualified personnel to install the proper outlet. Do not alter the plug in any way.
  10. HAP-601 air purifier is electrical appliance for indoor use only. Take the necessary precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
  11. When disconnecting the unit from the power supply, do not pull on the power cord, pull on the power plug.
  12. Use the power cable provided with your FreAire air purifier to plug directly and firmly into an appropriate electrical outlet.
  13. Do not use an extension cord or a power strip. Refer to the rating label on your appliance.
  14. Do not alter the power plug in any way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, contact qualified personnel to install the proper outlet.
  15. Do not use the included power cord for anything else but the appliance.
  16. Do not allow objects to enter or block the air inlets and air outlets as this can cause electric shock or damage the appliance.
  17. Do not place any objects on top of or directly against the appliance.
  18. Do not sit on, stand, climb onto or hang from the appliance.
  19. Keep the appliance, including the power cable, at a safe distance from heated surfaces and open fire.
  20. Keep the appliance and power plug away from water and other liquids.
  21. Keep the appliance and power plug away from chemicals such as pesticides and deodorants.
  22. Place the air purifier on the floor or a stable surface to prevent tipping.
  23. Do not use the appliance outdoors or in wet environments such as bathrooms, laundry rooms or pool areas.
  24. Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before moving the unit, changing filters, cleaning or carrying out maintenance procedures.
  25. Never clean with gasoline, chemical solvents, or corrosive materials as these agents may damage the air purifier.
