Do not hit the electrode on the work piece because you could damage the electrode covering and make strike- up difficult. As soon as arc is ignited, maintain a distance from the work piece equal to the diameter of the electrode; keep an angle of 20° - 30° as it advances. ALFA IN a.s. © www.alfain.eu... - Page 9 6.
