  • Page 2 Introduction The following instructions are designed to assist you in using our CAB99 Adapter cables. These cables are intended to replace the OEM rear view and reversing camera kits originally installed in Swift, Bessacarr, and Autotrail motorhomes. It’s important to note that the PS/2 6-pin cable used in these systems has also been utilised in various other reversing camera systems produced by other suppliers.
  • Page 3 Overview of the Swift Motorhome OEM Twin Camera System The factory-fitted twin-lens reversing camera system on Swift, Autotrail, and Bessacarr motorhomes consists of a combination of cameras, cables, a control box, and a monitor. Understanding how these components were originally installed and connected will help ensure a smooth replacement process.
  • Page 4 If you are replacing the Always-On driving camera that faces down the road, you will need our CAB99M adapter. The original camera is likely labelled RV207-120 on a silver sticker and has a 6-pin PS/2 connector on its cable. Our reversing cameras...
  • Page 5 Replacing the Reversing Camera (labelled RV207-150) If you are replacing the reversing camera labelled RV207-150, you will need to use our CAB99M-Ch2 adaptor cable. This adaptor is slightly different because it includes a trigger wire that must be connected to the orange wire that was originally attached to the old camera lead.
  • Page 6 Control Box Side Wiring CAB99F / CAB99F-Ch2 If you are working on the control box side wiring, you will need to use our CAB99F and CAB99F-Ch2 adaptor cables. These adaptors are designed to remove the control box from the reversing camera system, allowing you to connect the cameras directly to any other type of monitor.
  • Page 7 The box is typically located on the passenger side beneath the dashboard, though it can occasionally be found in other locations, such as in a pillar. We’ve included an image of a slightly different version of the box used for single cameras, as it helps to illustrate the most commonly found location of this box.
