Standard/optional equipment.
Sports leather steering wheel, three spokes with chrome trim in Pearl Grey
and thumb rest, incl. multifunction buttons, gearshift lever with chrome trim and
handbrake lever handle in leather.
Steering wheel heating for the sports leather steering wheel provides added
comfort at low temperatures. The steering wheel rim can be brought to a pleasant
temperature within seconds, at the touch of a button. This prevents the discomfort
of cold hands and enables drivers to steer without gloves even in icy conditions.
Active Cruise Control enables
comfortable driving at a pre-selected
speed. When driving in columns of traffic,
your BMW automatically adapts to the
speed of the preceding vehicle and
maintains a previously selected distance.
In addition, the braking function ensures
that the desired speed is not surpassed
even when driving downhill (not available
for the four-cylinder models).
