    You will need the following components to complete this process: your device, the BlackBerry® Desktop Software, and any email accounts that you've added to the BlackBerry® Internet Service. You can use the process flow at the beginning of this guide as a checklist to make sure you've covered all of the steps that you need to transfer your data.

    After you finish: If you encrypted your backup data, type a password when you are prompted. Restore device data Before you begin: To perform this task, on your BlackBerry® device, mass storage mode must be turned on. Connect your new device to your computer.
