ATTENTION! Each cable winch / set supplied by us comes with assembly / operating instructions. We therefore assume that the winch is operated and used correctly. We are happy to answer any questions you may have! The warranty shall lapse in the event of incorrect use or maintenance, or if repairs are carried out without our agreement.
Introduction These operating instructions must generally be read before the first use by each machine operator in order to guarantee safe and correction use of the machine. Please note the general safety provisions and only use the machine as intended. – e.g. ATTENTION! Only for ground traction, in order to prevent possible accidents.
SPOOL WINDER THE WINDING OF THE CABLE MUST BE PERFORMED UNDER LOAD SO THAT THE CABLE CLUSTER LIES SECURELY IN THE CABLE DRUM AND CLAMPING OF THE CABLE BETWEEN THE INDIVIDUAL LAYERS OF THE CABLE IS PREVENTED. THE CABLE MUST BE UNWOUND AT REGULAR INTERVALS (UP TO 2-3 WINDINGS) AND REWOUND UNDER A CONSISTENT LOAD.
Safety measures and general operating instructions for steel cable Before first use of the winch, check that it works correctly. DO NOT TOUCH THE STEEL CABLE OR HOOKS DURING THIS TEST. Do not touch the steel cable or the hooks under any circumstances while the cable is under tension or is carrying a load.

Always pull as straight as possible in order to prevent the cable only being wound into one end of the drum (for cable winches WITHOUT automatic cable spool winder). The steel cable should be thoroughly inspected and rewound after each use. The tensile strength is greatly reduced by crushed, buckled or brittle parts of the cable.
