  • Page 3 M1 SERIES VOLTAGE STABILIZER DESIGN TECHNIQUES AND FUNCTIONING The microprocessor controlled regulator M consists of the following parts Variac for voltage adjustment (toroidal transformer), Power transformer (boost), Power transformer, Variac Motor, Control panel, current transformer, contactor and transient overvoltage arrester.
