SATO SK-L753 Series Instruction Manual

Thank you for purchasing one of SK-L753 series sensor probes.
As this product is designed to measure temperature by connection with the Datalogger Model SK-L753 Pt
Sensor Temperature Measurement Type, do not use it for other purposes.
Read this manual and the manual for the Datalogger's main unit together thoroughly before use and keep it in
a safe place for future reference.

Installation
Install the probe as illustrated in the right. Insert
into the connector part on the Datalogger's main unit, and tighten
the nut firmly.
Note: Use CH1 on the Datalogger first before CH2. If the probe
is connected to CH2 when CH1 is empty, temperature is measured but not logged.
Note: Waterproofness is effective only when both channels are occupied. When CH2 is empty, put the sensor
cap to CH2 to keep the waterproofness.
Safety Precautions
⚫ Do not immerse the part of the probe other than its sensor section in liquids, no matter how much the probe
is waterproof.
⚫ Do not give a strong shock to the probe, or it may cause malfunctions.
⚫ Measurement out of the measuring range may cause malfunctions.
⚫ To achieve accurate measurement, penetrate the probe into the object twenty times as long as a diameter
of the sensor section in order to reduce the effect from the ambient temperature.
⚫ Measurement of high temperature immediately after that of low temperature, or vice versa will accelerate
the deterioration of the probe. Give it a rest in the room temperature for a while.
⚫ Be careful not to burn yourself. Also, do not store the probe while it is still hot.
